Rollins College Head Volleyball Coach / Director – Mika Robinson – 2013 SAA Coach of the Year, 2008 SSAC Coach of the Year
Beginning on February 29, 2016, Mika Robinson will take over the Sunshine State Conference DII Rollins Tars volleyball program. However, she will be the director of the Berry Volleyball camps again this year. Robinson just completed her eighth season at the helm of the Berry Volleyball program where the Vikings once again advanced to the NCAA Regional Semifinals. In 2013, after helping Berry make the transition from NAIA to NCAA DIII, Robinson again led the Vikings to yet another conference championship and Berry’s first ever NCAA tournament appearance where they made it to the NCAA Regional Semi Finals in their first year of NCAA eligibility. The Vikings won both the 2012 and 2013 Southern Athletic Association regular season and tournament championships and numerous Vikings have received SAA, Regional, and All American accolades. With three years of NCAA Division I experience at Idaho State University as both Assistant Coach and Associate Head Coach, Mika Robinson took over as Head Volleyball Coach of Berry College on May 1, 2008. In her first season at the helm, Robinson took Berry Volleyball to unprecedented heights. The team claimed its first SSAC Championship and garnered a number of individual honors including Player of the Year, Libero of the Year, and multiple All Conference, All Region, and All American selections. An experienced camp coach, Robinson has worked a variety of NCAA Division I and Division II camps for the past fifteen years. As a collegiate player, she played volleyball for Harvard University.
Berry College Head Volleyball Coach / Asst. Director – Caitlyn Jansen – On February 3, 2016, Caitlyn Jansen became the 5th Head Volleyball Coach for Berry College. Jansen just finished her fourth season as Assistant Coach at Berry College under Mika Robinson, who has accepted the head coaching position at Rollins College. Over the last four years, she helped the Vikings win both the SAA regular season and tournament championship in 2012 and 2013 as well as advance to the NCAA Regional semifinals in 2013 and 2016. As an assistant, Jansen played an active role in all aspects of running Berry’s program. Prior to coming to Berry, Jansen was an All American middle blocker at Christopher Newport and then an assistant coach for the Captains when they went all the way to the DIII National Championship match.
